Bringing Broad Band to the Village

The Rural-WEB project comprised a group of local volunteers who provided wireless broadband to villagers at a low cost and well before broadband was widely available in the area. Now, the group has decided to cease at the end of September 2008, and gradually wind down the project infrastructure until a final end on 31 March 2009. The project web site carries more information.
