Church records

Most of the records for local baptisms, births, marriages and burials are housed in the Leicestershire Record Office. Many will be in microform, some are the printed originals.

Staff can make searches and copies for you but there are charges and it can take 6 - 8 weeks for them to respond. To enter the Record Office you will need a ticket. You must produce TWO forms of identify proof with a photo.
